John Emmet Tracy
In thirty years as an actor, John has appeared in hundreds of roles in theatre, film, television, commercials and voiceovers. He is currently starring as a series lead on Divine: The Series. Other TV/film credits include Supernatural, Smallville, Fringe, Psych, Sanctuary, The Dead Zone, Impact and Terminal City among many others.
John has performed in over eighty stage productions, including playing Hamlet in Hamlet (Japan tour) and King Henry VI at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, where he was selected as a member of the Globe's International Actors' Fellowship. As a teacher for fifteen years, John has taught actors of all ages and experience levels in many studios, conservatories, schools and colleges.
John Emmet Tracy also works regularly as an individual acting coach, both on-set and off. He received his training at Rose Bruford College (BA in Theatre), the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, the National Shakespeare Conservatory and from master teachers Uta Hagen, Lynn Redgrave, Edward Albee and Madeleine Sherwood.
