Experience Hope

Synopsis: Deep beneath the earth, in the local mine of a small town, the workers begin their day in darkness. Above, their families and other townsfolk live their lives, enmeshed in petty disputes... until a sudden earthquake causes a cave-in that traps the miners underground with a limited air supply. Above ground, deep-seated prejudices boil to the surface, threatening any hope of a collaborative rescue effort -- but if the townsfolk don't see the light in time, those trapped underground will never see light again.
