2-Year Film Acting Conservatory Diploma Program
As a student in the New Image College of Fine Arts Film Acting Conservatory Program, you'll be taught acting lessons by award-winning and experienced instructors who understand how to succeed in the field of acting. These instructors are working actors who bring a wealth of industry knowledge and insight to the students. In this program you'll experience the entire scope of acting, from auditions to live theatre to short films and so much more. Learn stunts and combat, stage direction, and even act in a real, internationally-distributed, full-length feature film!
Film Acting Courses - Year 1
Welcome to your first year of acting! Beginning with in-depth movement, voice, text analysis and scene study classes, you'll grow prepared for introduction to the camera. In the various on-camera acting classes, you'll grow comfortable in front of the camera and learn how to work in today's film and television media. In our action actor class, you'll learn stunts, hand-to-hand combat, weapons training and wire work, taught by some of the best stunt performers in the country.
Film Acting Courses - Year 2
In the second year of our acting program, you'll create your calling card for agents and casting directors: a demo reel. You'll also learn how to successfully audition for the role you always dreamed of. On career nights, you'll meet casting directors, agents, industry professionals and more. Over the course of your schooling you'll act in several film and stage projects, two first-year film grad projects as well as the second-year full-length feature film. These are ultimate tests for the Film Acting Conservatory students.
By the end of two years, you'll have had clear and concise training by some of the industry's most respected professionals, have acted in three plays, two short films, created a demo reel, honed your skills in stunt training and acted in a full-length feature film. Career started!
