Fei Ren

Born and raised in China, Fei Ren obtained her Psychology degree at UBC while working internationally as a model. She has appeared in various fashion weeks across North America and graced the cover of fashion editorial magazines around the world. Ren started her acting career in 2014 by training intensively in Vancouver and New York. In a short time, she has performed a diverse range of roles and been nominated for multiple awards for her work in TV, film and stage.

She can be seen in various leading roles in TV series such as multiple award-winning show The Romeo Section (CBC). In 2019 she was nominated for the most prestigious award for Canadian entertainers, artists, and filmmakers: Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance for her work in This Blows (CBC). You can also see her in various hit shows, such as Supernatural (The CW), Lucifer (FOX), Minority Report (FOX), The Magicians (SyFy).

Ren also made her supporting lead debut in movies such as Supergrid, Fatal Visit (staring Sammi Cheng); and most recently, Ren can be seen starring in Netflix’s feature film “Polar” opposite Katheryn Winnick, Vanessa Hudgens, and Mads Mikkelsen, where she is nominated for Best Supporting Performance in Leo Award. In 2019, Ren made her stage debut as a leading woman in Duncan Macmillan’s Lungs where she landed a Jessie Richardson Theatre Award nomination for Best Leading Performance. In addition, she guest-starred as a voice actress in pop culture classic Robot Chicken created by Seth Green.

Ren’s directed her first play The Mirror Test in 2016 at the Annex Orpheum Theatre and the dark feminist comedy Commencing in 2018.
