Michelle Grady has been a Makeup Artist for over 16 years, upon graduating top of her class, Michelle went straight into film. She has been in the makeup industry working on various projects ranging from high-budget TV shows to independent film productions for the past 16 years.
Michelle also went off to compete in the “WBF” (World Bodypainting Festival) in Austria, the largest body painting competition in the world and made it into the finals. She has worked on Dead Rising (1&2), Wayward Pines (Seasons 1& 2) Tortured (artist for Laurence Fishburne) Ghost Rider, X-files (Lizard episode), The Evil Among Us, Loch Ness Terror and more. In 2017 Michelle won a Leo award for her work on “Dead Rising End Game” – Best Makeup in a TV Movie.
Michelle specializes in creature effects, wound simulation, realistic body parts, blood rigging, silicone body parts and body painting. Although she loves working on set, Michelle realized her best quality is helping new aspiring artists grow to the best they can be, she excels in the classroom and never backs down from a challenge. “Challenges make you better” she often repeats to her students. Michelle is Head of Makeup & SPFX at New Image College and is Devoted to educating aspiring makeup artists to work in the TV & Film Industry.
