Program Overview
The Film Acting Intermediate program is a one-year, immersive journey designed to prepare you for professional work in TV, film, commercials, and theatre. You’ll start by mastering movement, voice, speech, and text analysis before stepping in front of the camera.
With hands-on experience in scene study, action for actors, on-camera projects, and theatre performance, you’ll develop a strong foundation in acting and gain practical, real-world skills.

Curriculum

The Film Acting Intermediate curriculum provides students with a solid foundation in acting for both screen and stage. Through focused training in voice, movement, and physical awareness, students learn to connect their body, energy, and presence to each performance. Scene study, character development, and text analysis deepen understanding of authentic and dynamic acting.
Hands-on experience is central to the program. Students perform in-class exercises, scene work, and projects that build confidence on camera and on stage. They learn to collaborate with peers, take direction, and develop the discipline required for professional acting.
The program culminates in the on-camera graduation project and Theatre 1 production, giving students the opportunity to apply their skills in fully realized performances. By the end of the program, students have strengthened their technical abilities, artistic understanding, and stage and screen confidence.
This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit (PTIRU) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education & Future Skills.
