Michelle Cyr

Michelle Cyr completed the Acting Conservatory Program at New Image College in 2016, and was cast in and involved in films, webseries, and staged plays. In the last two years Michelle has been cast in over 30 projects both in theatre and film. Michelle has directed, assisted, and co-produced over 10 stage productions, acted in 12 theatre shows, and has portrayed over 25 characters in film. In her personal favourite, Ontroerend Goed’s project A Game of You, Michelle portrayed approximately 150 people in an immersive theatre experience.

Michelle is a co-founder of 2 theatre companies, providing platforms for stories that connect us, challenge us and build up community.

Michelle studied social and cultural sciences at university, psychology, and business as well. She was a human resources manager for manager for many years.

She began teaching at New Image in 2017. As a teacher she is thrilled to support an atmosphere of confidence, emotional stability, and she works to provide tools to manage and excel within this industry. She believes in finding inner strength and bringing hidden talents out into the open.
