Cory Stuppard

With over ten years of experience Cory is a wildly driven actor/comedian who is trained in Improv, Stand up and Sketch Comedy. He has trained and performed with amazing local Improv performers such as Alan Marriot; creator of the London Theatre Sports Improvisational theatre, Eric Fell; creator of Vancouver’s “The Critical Hit Show” and “Gentlemen Hecklers”, Lisa Ovies; creator of Rogue Studios and Gary Jones; from 90’s hit sci-fi show “Stargate SG1”. Cory’s training has earned him two diplomas from Vancouver acting school: the “Acting for Film and TV and Voice over intensive program” and “Improv, Stand up and Sketch Comedy Conservatory”.

Recently he has received another diploma from New Image College; the “Acting for Film and TV Conservatory”. With this experience, he has performed in short films such as: “Because We Must”, “Promotion” and “Looking For Emma”. As well as live shows around Vancouver including “Friday Night Live” Improv musical, “Umbrella Fashion Show” with “SingleLineTheatre Productions” and “The Wizard’s Brunch” live events. He also created, managed and produced a comedy company “The New Thing” later called “Grand Theft Impro” which presented performances weekly in theatres and venues such as the Commodore Ballroom, Stanley Park Pavilion, Vancouver Convention Centre and the Ballroom at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.
