New Image College Film Acting Conservatory Graduate Gurb Johal has always had a big heart. We remember when he came in to audition for the program. He said he wanted to study acting to become a professional wrestler. He thought it would help him. We noticed his sincere desire to do big things for himself. As his education continued Gurb discovered a deep love for the craft. He applied himself with the diligence of a professional athlete. Gurb was discovered during the NIC Auditon showcase by his agents, Jennifer Patterson and Skye Matheson of Eleven Talent Management. Shortly after, Gurb booked a commercial for the National MMA wrestling corporation where he had to do a wrestling stunt going through a table in the commercial. Gurb said it was full circle for him. Like a dream had come true. Since then he’s gone on to act in hits shows like Riverdale, DCs Legends of Tomorrow, and has a starring role in the feature film ”Bee Hive” You may have also seen him in a Vega protein powder commercial out.
And the BIG news: Gurb will be in a SECRET SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL coming out this SUNDAY, February the 13th during the game. One of the biggest, most publicized events in the world.
