Cory started drawing and painting when he could first pick up a pencil. After graduating from art school, it wasn’t long before he was teaching. He has worked as a freelance artist for the last dozen years doing various bodypainting and drawing commissions, with the occasional trip to various events such as festivals, paint jams and parties. This all started before he even went to an art school. The industrial illustration started a couple of years after art school.
Both airbrush and sponge and brush are bodypainting media worked in with a strong emphasis on freehand work. Cory’s drawing takes place in traditional and digital media with lots of practice in life-drawing. Telling a good story with his artistic contributions is among his favourite challenges. Having a well-rounded skill set with transferable skills is part of his design technique.
