Edward T. Jones is a 2015 NIC graduate, who’s done his fair share of acting in features, shorts and stage productions while in Vancouver, before moving back to his hometown of Calgary, Alberta.
Edward has been keeping busy with doing some background extra work while recently wrapping up principal photography on his first short film, “KILL OR BE KILLED”, which he wrote and directed himself.
If you have a keen eye, you might be able to spot him on the Disney+/Hulu series, “UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN”, starring Andrew Garfield and Sam Worthington.
Writing and directing has always been a passion of Edward’s,
idolizing the likes of filmmakers Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino, even before coming to New Image College. Now with the tools he picked up and learned during his two years of studying at NIC, he’s finally taking the steps to achieve his dreams and goals.
His short film, which is currently in post-production, is a throwback to the
old-school action flicks of the late 80s and early 90s that he grew up on.”KILL OR BE KILLED” centres around a deadly game of assassin tag gone horribly wrong for a female bounty hunter when she pulls her retired partner back into the game.
Expect to see a trailer release soon around Halloween!
Congratulations Edward!
