NIC Film Acting Conservatory graduate Blake Williams books a leading role in a thriller, shooting in Kelowna. Blake was discovered by casting director Ann Forry when she attended our NIC actor’s showcase. She also cast Blake as her male lead in her directorial debut “Shall We Play?” right out of school.
As of this summer, Blake can now be found on one of Netflix’s top shows, “Virgin River”, as a recurring role that’s quite outside his casting type. He really had the opportunity to stretch into this character. This is a testament to how skilled he is as an actor.
Blake was also one of the creatives with a film he was proud to help get made. This indie feature film is nearing completion and will be entering 2023’s film festival circuit. More news on that to come!
