June began working professionally in theatre at the age of eight, enrolling in various acting, singing, and dancing (ballet/pointe/tap/jazz) classes. Performances took place at Theater Under The Stars, The Alley Theater, and Miller Outdoor Theatre while growing up. Some of June’s productions were “To Kill A Mockingbird“, the regional premiere of “Spring Awakening“, and “Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson“. June then attended an arts-centered high school (Episcopal High School, Houston Texas – graduated 2013), where June wrote and produced plays in a blackbox theater while maintaining daily dance training.
In June’s senior year, June received a scholarship from the Tommy Tune Awards. Subsequently, June relocated to New York to pursue studies at NYU, spending a year at Tisch, BFA – Playwrights’ Horizons studio. June then concluded her education at Atlantic Acting Conservatory, completing the two-and-a-half-year full-time Conservatory Diploma program and graduating in the Winter of 2016. June’s studies in New York encompassed intensive scene study using techniques such as Meisner, Practical Aesthetics, and Suzuki/Viewpoints from SITI company members, as well as training in voice and speech. June believes in a continuous commitment to education and learning tools to better yourself and the Craft.
