Danielle has been working professionally as an actor and coach for over a decade across film, television and theatre. Danielle originally hails from Canberra, Australia where she grew up in a small piece of untouched paradise, just outside the nation’s capital. Falling in love with stories and music at a young age, Danielle went on to pursue a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music Theatre) at one of New Zealand’s premiere performing arts schools – NASDA. NASDA is a full-time conservatoire style program, with intensive study of Acting, Singing, Voice/Speech, Movement, and Dance. Following graduation Danielle discovered the joys of film and television, and pursued a variety of further training including at The Atlantic Acting School, in New York, ultimately winding up in Vancouver, Canada. In 2023, Danielle made her directorial debut with Vancouver Theatre Collective’s “Time Stands Still” by Donald Margulies at The NEST. Danielle’s teaching draws from a variety of well-known methodologies including Alexander Technique, Practical Aesthetics, Meisner, Laban, Viewpoints, Mike Alfreds, and also incorporates insights from the latest neurological studies into voice, breath, and movement.
