Maria is an accomplished Film, TV, Voice and Stage actress. A career that has spanned over three decades has included work with Miramax, Paramount, FOX, CBS, CBC, NBC, ABC, SHOWTIME, LIFETIME, NETFLIX and much more.
Maria has worked as a performer in Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton and Vancouver where she also taught acting for Film & TV, Voice Acting, and Singing. Teaching for the prestigious Segal Center Academy in Montreal, she was thrilled to instruct all ages in Musical theatre and was honoured to direct multiple productions for the Segal Center’s main stage. Other schools that Maria has taught for include Vancouver tap Dance Society, Sheila Parkins school of Dance, private school Miss Edgars and Miss Cramps in Montreals west end and all throughout the Montreal area, where she continued to produce and direct multiple dramatic and musical plays.
As a private instructor, she has assisted countless actors in signing with talent agencies and auditioning successfully for their first roles in Film & TV.
Maria began her career in theatre in Edmonton performing at the Jubilee Auditorium and she has continued to perform for stage, film, and TV since that time. Recent credits include GHOSTS on CBS, Fatherhood on Netflix and The Recruit also on Netflix. Also an accomplished singer, Maria released an album that she wrote and recorded in 2000 entitled FOREVER, available on SPOTIFY. The single “I Want You” received regular airplay on several major radio stations in Western Canada and the album was supported by a tour with her 5 person dance troupe in and around BC.
