Yu Matsushita is one of the top stunt actors in North America and proudly holds the distinction of being the first Japanese stunt actor to break into Hollywood’s mainstream film and television industry.
Originally from Chiba, Japan, Yu moved to Vancouver to pursue her dream of performing on screen. Combining a strong background in dance, martial arts, and acrobatics, she has built an outstanding career as a highly sought-after stunt performer, doubling for lead roles and appearing in major productions.
Yu’s recent work includes serving as the lead stunt double on the latest Tron film, where her precision, athleticism, and creative choreography have been widely recognized.
She is also known for her recurring stunt and acting role as Suyin on Kung Fu (The CW, Seasons 2–3), and for contributing to some of today’s most high-profile productions:
