Travis Turner

Travis Turner is a talented voice artist with a long history of success in the film, television, and music industries (IMDB pageBehind the Voice Actors profile). Whether performing as a brave hero, an arrogant villain, or a trusty sidekick, Travis always brings great energy, charm, and passion to his many animated characters. Travis’s earlier voice work included roles in Dinosaur Train, Mack & Moxy, and Mighty Mighty Monsters, for which he was nominated for a Leo Award for best voice actor in an animated series for his portrayal as The King.

Perhaps best recognized so far for his role on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Travis played Tender Taps in season six of the hit Hasbro series. With a fresh and likeable tone and personality, Tender Taps proved to be a memorable addition to the MLP universe, helping Apple Bloom and other ponies to follow their tap dancing dreams. Travis had the pleasure of working with Disney as the lead character of Spence Avery in Ghost Patrol. In addition to the projects above, Travis recurs in multiple episodes of Netflix’s Spy Kids: Mission Control, based on the movie franchise.

He is also featured prominently as main character Trip Hamston (a hamster rap star!) in Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop, currently airing on Discovery Family. On the anime and dubbing side, Travis has collaborated frequently with studios in Vancouver to introduce international projects to English audiences. He currently lends his voice to the fierce antagonist Lui Shirasagi in the popular series Beyblade Burst, which streams on Netflix.

Recently Travis also voiced the titular role in Nils Holgersson (originally a French production), as well as a recurring part as best friend Ali in the three-part Japanese miniseries Sinbad: A Flying Princess and a Secret Island; The Magic Lamp and the Moving Islands; and Night at High Noon and the Wonder Gate. Turner is also the iconic voice of Ice Man In Maga Man-Fully Charged. Turner made his debut into the Video game world with Nintendo as Hope in Dragalia Lost. Look for him as Rotty on the new Air Bud Franchise, Pup Academy Catch him as Little Foot The Knowledge Network Luna Chip And Inkie. He will also be lending his voice to the newly animated show on Netflix based on the children’s book Hello Ninja.
While Travis has been very active in the voiceover world, he has also established himself as a strong and reliable on-camera actor.

His on-screen credits include all three seasons of Some Assembly Required, turns in SupernaturalNickelodeons’ Fairly Odd Parents live action movie, and working alongside Sir Roger Moore (of James Bond fame) on the the TV movie A Princess for Christmas. Look for Travis in the upcoming Mike Judge produced film Some Of Our Stallions. Turner just finished wrapping production on Aliens Stole My Body starring William Shatner the sequel to Aliens Ate My Homework.

Last but not least, Travis has spent years honing his musical craft and has performed with acts including Macklemore and Lil’ Kim. He has released multiple albums in recent years and just dropped his new album “T” featuring Snoop Dogg with support from Creative BC.
