Update Your Skills with a Specialized One-Day Course

This one-day course will allow you to enhance your career by the update and refreshment of your Nail Technician skills in the acrylic area of specialization.

Students will learn to create salon nail extensions and how to offer different services to clients in a safe and professional environment while being very detail oriented.

After completing the instruction and demo part of the course. You will end with a thorough examination. You will then receive the NIC Nail Technician (Acrylic) certification.

Hands-on Practice

Participate in a hands-on practice session to refine your technique and enhance your skills.

Gain NIC's Certification

Get the NIC Nail Certification (Acrylic Course) after practicing what you’ve learned and successfully passing the exam.

Students will learn how to:

Perform NIC’s Russian manicure technique.
Apply gel polish.
Perform acrylic French tips.
Perform a full set of acrylic extensions.
Create 3D and 2D acrylic nail art.
Perform a safe removal of extensions.
Apply tips and forms.
Identify skin disorders.
Set up the treatment room.
Use a nail drill.
Use and understand the difference between the nail drill bits.
Perform all sanitation and disinfection protocols.
Sell products and services.
Photo techniques for marketing and promoting the services.
Nail art.

Program Requirements

One year of professional experience, with a letter of reference pertaining to your experience, and/or a certification showing that training in this area has been completed.

Program Duration

8 hours – 1 day

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training

Tuition fees doesn’t include basic school supplies including pens, pencils, highlighters, sharpeners, erasers, white-out, tape, scissors, binders, paper, etc.

Students are given a kit list to be purchase on their own at the time of their registration. These are not provided by the school.
