Rami Kahlon

Rami Kahlon is an actor, writer, and director based in Vancouver, British Columbia. For the past ten years, she’s worked in leading and supporting roles for networks such as The CW, Disney, MTV, and more. Her most recent acting work includes a supporting lead in the independent film “Dil Rakh” and a supporting role opposite Peter Dinklage in the feature film “American Dreamer.” As a filmmaker, her directorial debut “Odd Girl” was awarded Best Screenplay at the Oscar-qualifying Rhode Island International Film Festival (2020), Best Thriller at Die Laughing Film Festival (2020), and she was placed as a runner-up for Best First-Time Filmmaker at HorrorHound Weekend Film Festival (2020). Rami’s films have been supported through the Canada Council for the Arts and the UBCP/ACTRA Scholarship Fund. Currently, Rami is developing a feature-length screenplay based on colonial India, and the horror/comedy “A Christmas Star,” which is slated to go into production in winter 2022.
