Vanesa Tomasino is a Salvadoran SAG and UBCP film and TV actress with over 40 projects that include: movies, series for Netflix and Paramount, cartoons, and video games for PlayStation.

She is a founding member of the Latinx subcommittee at ACTRA/UBCP and an international acting coach, working with actors from Canada, the United States, Spain, Mexico and El Salvador.
Vanesa is the founder and Director of the first professional acting for film and TV studio in El Salvador, SAS El Salvador, fights for the employment rights of actors in El Salvador, and is the founder of the Salvadoran short film festival Sivar en Cortos.

Vanesa has a BA, MA and is currently a Political Science PhD candidate at York University in Toronto. She has taught at York University and at the master’s level at UCA University in El Salvador. She has also been a research assistant for Harvard University. She also worked in Vancouver as a radio host at The Beat 94.5FM (now Virgin) and TV host of worldbeats on Channel M.
