First-year students in NIC’s Acting program came together to showcase their Scene Study presentations, and the results were a real reflection of the work they put in.

Scene Study is one of the most important foundations of actor training. Rather than moving quickly from scene to scene, students spend extended time with a single piece, learning to truly understand their character, listen to their scene partner, and respond truthfully in every moment. It’s a process that builds patience, depth, and genuine connection on stage.

The presentations were a chance to share that journey with an audience and celebrate how far they’ve come.
