Esthetics Students Practice Microdermabrasion

NIC Esthetics students train in Microdermabrasion for smoother, brighter skin.

NIC’s Esthetics students have been practicing Microdermabrasion, a treatment that gently exfoliates the outer layer of skin to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

Unlike Hydrabrasion, which combines exfoliation with water-based hydration, Microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip or fine crystals to buff away dead skin cells. Students are learning how the technique can improve skin texture, soften the appearance of fine lines, and leave skin feeling noticeably smooth.

Hands-on experience with treatments like this is where confidence gets built. It’s practice students will carry directly into their careers, treatment by treatment.
