The NIC Acting Talent Showcase gave second-year students and grads the chance to perform scenes directly for industry professionals, with casting directors and agents from Vancouver talent agencies in the room.

Every performance was sharp, present, and fully committed. Students put their training to work in front of the people who cast roles and sign talent, a genuine first step toward building industry representation while still in school.

Standing in that room before graduation is a rare opportunity, and it showed in how our performers carried themselves. This is what second year at NIC leads to, and we’re already looking forward to bringing the showcase back for the next group of students.
