Fast-track your certification by updating your skills

This one-day course will allow you to enhance your career by the update and refreshment of your Nail Technician skills in the Manicure and Pedicure area of specialization.

Students will be able to fulfill client’s expectations within the beauty industry while following correct procedures tailored to each client’s objectives and needs, all in a safe environment.

After completing the instruction and demo part of the course. You will end with a thorough examination. You will then receive the NIC Nail Technician (Manicure & Pedicure) certification.

Explore Gel Nail techniques in a course tailored specifically to these key skills.

Hands-on Practice

Participate in a hands-on practice session to refine your technique and enhance your skills.

Gain NIC's Certification

Get the NIC Nail Certification (Gel Course) after practicing what you’ve learned and successfully passing the exam.

Students will learn how to:

  • Perform NIC’s Russian manicure technique.
  • Perform a full set of hard gel extensions.
  • Apply gel polish.
  • Perform French Tip techniques.
  • Perform a service using Gel-X.
  • Perform a service using Polygel.
  • Create 3D and 2D hard gel nail art.
  • Apply tips and forms.
  • Perform a safe removal of extensions.
  • Have a full understanding of product chemistry.
  • Use a nail drill.
  • Use and understand the difference between the nail drill bits.
  • Operate and manage a nail salon.
  • Photo techniques for marketing and promoting the services.
  • Work safely in a nail salon.
  • Set up the treatment room.
  • Perform all sanitation and disinfection protocols.
  • Compose a resume and a cover letter.
  • Nail art.

Program Requirements

One year of professional experience, with a letter of reference pertaining to your experience, and/or a certification showing that training in this area has been completed.

Program Duration

8 hours – 1 day

This program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training

Admissions & Tuition

From our experience, we understand that each student has different needs in their education and also in their financial planning. Our Admissions Representatives are prepared to guide you through our payment options and what is best for you. Get in touch to schedule a Zoom appointment and discuss.

Tuition fees doesn’t include basic school supplies including pens, pencils, highlighters, sharpeners, erasers, white-out, tape, scissors, binders, paper, etc.

Students are given a kit list to be purchase on their own at the time of their registration. These are not provided by the school.
