Black Culture Celebration: Seth and Daniel Whittaker organize event and release a new music video!

We are excited to share the success story of Seth and Daniel Whittaker, NIC alumni, who are organizing a festival on Sunset Beach to mark the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop – the 2nd Annual Black Culture Celebration. This event, scheduled for June 17th, 2023 – as Juneteenth is an important date, celebrating the end of slavery in the United States and also an opportunity to recognize the contributions of Black and Indigenous communities in Canada.

The Black Culture Celebration aims to create a joyful and memorable occasion for all attendees. Live music, graphic designers, and filmmakers from diverse backgrounds will come together to showcase the rich cultural heritage and artistic talent of Black and Indigenous musicians and bipoc artists. Music has a unique ability to unite people, and this festival will embody that spirit.

On the same day, Seth and Daniel, known as the duo “Wn8o,” will release their new music video for the song “Holidae”. The video will be played on screens throughout the festival grounds, adding to the excitement and creating a visually captivating experience!

We invite everyone to join us on June 17th, 2023, for the Juneteenth festival on Sunset Beach! Get your tickets at https://www.localinvitation.com/events/bcc-june-17th and be part of this unforgettable experience. For more information visit: https://blackcultures.ca/
