NIC Acting alum Alyssa Wapanatâhk stars in the upcoming feature film Tombs, a moving, multi-generational drama about an Indigenous American family relocated to Los Angeles in the 1950s. The story follows three sisters and their mother as they navigate the challenges of forced relocation and the search for identity, belonging, and home.
Filming is currently underway right here in Vancouver and the Okanagan, with acclaimed Indigenous filmmaker Marie Clements directing. Alyssa joins an outstanding cast bringing this important story to life, one that sheds light on resilience, culture, and the strength of family.
