The wait is almost over. Netflix has dropped the official teaser for Little House on the Prairie, premiering July 9th, and NIC graduate Alyssa Wapanatâhk is part of it.

Originally from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Alyssa plays White Sun in the highly anticipated series. It’s another major step after her breakout role in Peter Pan & Wendy, and it cements her place as one of Canada’s most exciting emerging talents.

Her path from NIC’s classrooms to a global streaming stage is exactly what focused training and real talent can lead to. We couldn’t be more proud.
