NIC Acting graduate Carolina Rolo has been cast in The Casket Girls, an upcoming horror film directed by Justin Dyck. She’ll be sharing the set with Philip Granger, head of NIC’s Acting department, who is also in the production.

Carolina moved from Brazil to Vancouver in 2018 to study at New Image College, and she’s been building her career ever since, with credits on Maid (Netflix), Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+), and Animal Control (Fox/Hulu).

Seeing a graduate work alongside her own instructor on a professional film set reflects the real-world connections NIC’s program is built to create. We’re so proud of her, and we can’t wait to see her on screen.
