Program Overview
NIC Film Acting Conservatory is a comprehensive, two-year program designed to meet the demands of the professional TV and film industry. You’ll begin online, building foundational skills in acting techniques, scene study, and on-camera performance.
After completing the online modules, you’ll transition to on-campus training, working directly in front of the camera, collaborating with instructors, directors, and fellow actors, while developing the focus, adaptability, and craft required on set.
By combining online and in-person learning, students gain strong technical skills, polished performance abilities, and hands-on production experience that prepares them for a professional acting career.

Applicants seeking direct entry into Year 2 of the Film Acting Conservatory program must meet the following additional requirements:
- Hold an Acting Diploma from New Image College or an equivalent qualification. Equivalency is defined as one of the following:
- Performing Arts diploma/certificate from a recognized private postsecondary educational institution.
- A 1-year BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) from any accredited college or university.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry.

Our two-year program is designed to transform aspiring actors into industry-ready performers. You’ll start with essential fundamentals like movement, voice, and scene study, progressing to on-camera projects, advanced film work, and live theatre performance.
Alongside technical and creative development, you’ll gain experience in auditions, professional self-taping, demo reel creation, and voice-over work. NIC’s curriculum ensures that every graduate leaves confident, versatile, and ready to succeed in the world of TV and film acting.
